Lutein is one of the carotenoids that appear as yellow and orange pigments found in many fruits and vegetables including mangoes, corn, sweet potatoes, carrots, squash, tomatoes and dark, leafy greens such as kale, collards and bok choy.
Zeaxanthin is one of the most common carotenoids found in nature. This nutrient is the pigment that gives paprika (made from bell peppers), corn, saffron and many other plants their characteristic color.
